WTMUGA Women’s Branch members visit Consul General Ünal
Members of the Women’s Branch of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association (WTMUGA) visited Türkiye’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal.
On Wednesday, April 2, the WTMUGA Women’s Branch delegation, led by President Sevtap Hint, was welcomed by Consul General Aykut Ünal at the Turkish Consulate in Komotini.
Following the visit, the Consulate General’s social media account shared a message stating:
"We were pleased to host the newly elected executive board of the Women’s Branch of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association at our Consulate. We thank them for their kind visit and wish them success in their activities."
Courtesy Visits by BTAYTD Women’s Branch
On the same day, the Women’s Branch of BTAYTD also paid courtesy visits to minority institutions and organizations in Komotini.
In a statement from BTAYTD regarding these visits, it was noted:
"On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the Women’s Branch of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association paid courtesy visits to Turkish institutions in Komotini, starting with the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye, followed by the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union, the Komotini Turkish Youth Union, the Friendship, Equality, and Peace Party, and the Western Thrace Minority Education and Culture Company. During these visits, discussions were held regarding upcoming activities and future collaborations."
