WTMUGA Women’s Branch elections held

The Women’s Branch of the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association (WTMUGA) has elected its new executive board following elections held on February 28, 2025, at the association's central headquarters.
A total of 56 female members participated in the election, with all 56 votes counted as valid.
The election proceedings were overseen by the Election Committee, led by:
Chairperson: Gülay Köroğlu
Secretaries: Dilek Ahmet & Selma Kambur
Before the voting, the current Women’s Branch President, Sibel Abdullah Hasan, delivered the opening speech. Additionally, the General Secretary, Sabiha Arif, presented the activity report, while Vice President, Doğa Kasap, read the financial report.

The new board is expected to continue WTMUGA Women’s Branch activities with a focus on education, cultural events, and community engagement.
