The Western Thrace Turkish Solidarity Association (BTTDD) has issued a statement condemning the provocative actions of state-appointed Muftis at the Çınar Mosque in Xanthi on October 11, 2024.
Hasan Küçük, the head of the association, expressed his strong disapproval of the incident, emphasizing that the Western Thrace Turkish Minority stands united in defense of its religious and national values. Küçük reaffirmed the community’s unwavering commitment to its elected religious leaders and denounced the government’s attempts to impose appointed officials.
