Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association İzmit Branch re-elects Yüksel Öztürk as Chairman

The İzmit branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTTDD) held its elective ordinary general assembly at the Kocaeli Uluslararası Kongre Merkezi, reaffirming its leadership and appointing new board members for the upcoming term.

Incumbent chairman Yüksel Öztürk, the sole candidate in the race, was re-elected, securing renewed confidence from members. The assembly also determined the principal and alternate members of the branch’s executive, supervisory and disciplinary boards.

The meeting was attended by BTTDD Chairman Hasan Küçük, underscoring the significance of the local branch within the broader organizational structure.

“We Stand Before You With Honor”

Addressing members, Öztürk reflected on his seven-year tenure as branch chairman.

“You have entrusted us with your confidence until today. We have worked with dedication to honor that trust and to serve the cause of Western Thrace Turks with commitment,” he said. “We stand before you with our heads held high and believe you will continue to place your trust in us.”
