Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association to be inaugurated

The opening ceremony of the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association operating in Komotini will be held. A night will be organised by the board of directors for the opening.
The official opening of the Fenerbahce Association could not be made by the board of directors until today because some fanatical people and authorities filed a closure case due to the phrase "Western Thrace" in its name after its statute was accepted and officially established and started its activities according to Greek law.
After the closure case was concluded in favour of the association, the board of directors met and discussed the issue of organising an activity for the official opening of the association.
In line with the decision taken at the meeting, the board of directors will organise an opening night on 28 August 2023 for the opening of the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association.
