Union of councils of Minority Schools in Western Thrace responds to the vice principal of Celal Bayar High School
The Union of Councils of Minority Schools in Western Thrace criticized the behavior of the vice principal of Celal Bayar Minority Middle and High School toward the president of the school's council.
In the statement released by the Union, it was expressed that "the laws that could have led to insults are wrongly interpreted by those causing the incidents in their favor," and the Union called for an immediate resolution of the issue.
Here is the statement from the Union of Councils:
"On January 22, Wednesday, we regard the incident that occurred between the president of the school council and the vice principal of Celal Bayar Minority Middle and High School, as well as the behavior toward our esteemed council member, as an insult. We believe that the laws that could lead to such insults have been wrongly interpreted by those causing the events to their advantage.
As the Union of Councils of Minority Schools in Western Thrace, we have always supported sincere cooperation between school staff and councils, while respecting the laws and not hindering the operation of the school. In this context, we request that the legal misinterpretations be promptly addressed and corrected. We hope that similar incidents will not occur again, and we will continue to follow up on the issue.
We extend our best wishes to our Council President and offer our full support in their rightful cause."
