Türkiye İş Bankası invests in Levent Sadık Ahmet’s agricultural tech venture

Türkiye İş Bankası’s venture capital subsidiary Maxis Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. has decided to invest €1.5 million in Bluefarm Tarım Teknolojileri ve Üretim A.Ş., the agricultural technology company founded by Levent Sadık Ahmet.

The investment aims to support Bluefarm’s plans to expand blueberry production in Turkey and strengthen its position in the country’s growing agricultural technology sector.

Experience from Greece to Türkiye

Bluefarm draws on the experience of Bluefarm IKE, a company operating in Greece and considered one of the country’s largest blueberry producers.

By transferring this expertise to Türkiye, Bluefarm aims to become one of the largest blueberry producers in the country.

Capital Increase and Share Acquisition

According to a statement submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the investment will be made through a capital increase with share premium in Bluefarm.

Under the agreement signed on March 12, 2026, Maxis’ Mixed Strategy Venture Capital Investment Fund will participate as an investor and acquire shares in the company.

Once the transaction is completed and regulatory approvals are obtained, the fund will hold 21.43% of Bluefarm’s capital in exchange for a €1.5 million investment corresponding to newly issued shares with a nominal value of 2,727,504 Turkish lira.

Expansion Plans in Agricultural Production

The funds from the investment will be used to finance Bluefarm’s ongoing agricultural projects and support strategic plans aimed at scaling up production capacity.

The deal will be finalized after approval from the Turkish Competition Authority and the completion of other closing conditions.
