Turkish Minority representatives from Xanthi visit Gencerli

On Friday, November 29, 2024, Turkish minority representatives from Xanthi, led by Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa, visited Gencerli village. The delegation joined locals for Friday prayers and engaged in discussions with the community.

During the visit, the delegation expressed their sympathies to local livestock owners who suffered significant losses due to an outbreak of sheep pox in Gencerli and the surrounding plain villages. Mustafa Mustafa, a veterinarian residing in Gencerli, briefed the visitors on the challenges faced by the affected farmers.

Following the prayer, the delegation was treated to refreshments prepared by the women of Gencerli village.

The visiting delegation included notable figures such as Xanthi MP Hüseyin Zeybek, Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, İnhanlı Municipality Council Member Cem Salihoğlu, DEB Party Vice President Bahri Belço, and former Mustafçova Mayor Cemil Kabza.

Mufti Mustafa Trampa later shared his gratitude on social media, appreciating the hospitality and extending prayers for those affected by the outbreak, saying, "May God grant them patience."
