Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu issued a congratulatory message for the newly elected Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa on his Twitter account.
In his message, Minister Çavuşoğlu said, “I congratulate the new Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, who was elected today with high participation by our compatriots in Western Thrace. We expect Greece to respect the will of the Turkish minority. We will always follow the rights and freedoms of all our compatriots," he said.
