Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal visits Karacaoğlan Village
Consul General Ünal, who dedicates Fridays to connecting with local Turkish communities, was welcomed by Karacaoğlan Village Head Serkan Ahmet, Trustee Board Chairman Mehmet Ahmet, and village residents during his visit to the municipality of Kozlukebir.
The visit included Friday prayers at Karacaoğlan Mosque, after which Ünal greeted the congregation individually. Joining the visit were notable figures, including Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board President and Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif, Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin, UMUT (HOPE) List Chairman Tarkan Multaza, and Komotini Turkish Youth Union President Sedat Hasan.
Following the prayers, the village community hosted the guests with food and coffee. Consul General Ünal expressed his gratitude to the representatives and residents of Karacaoğlan for their warm hospitality, stating his joy at meeting with the community.
