Due to the coronavirus, mass events could not be held in Western Thrace for two years, as in the whole world. With the lifting of the measures, collective activities started again.
This year, the first mass iftar of Ramadan was organized in Xanthi. Iftars will continue in Western Thrace. One of the mass iftars will be held in Satıkoy, which is affiliated with Kozlukebir Municipality of Rhodope province.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Kozlukebir Municipality will organize the fast-breaking dinner together. On Monday, April 18, the two municipalities will have sahoor in the village of Kozlukebir.
A video message about the fast-breaking meal was published. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş and Kozlukebir Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet invited all the people to the iftar dinner to be held in Satikoy.
