TÜMYAD distributed food in memory of the late Mufti of Xanthi Ahmet Mete
Turkish Nation Assistance Association (TÜMYAD) did not forget Ahmet Mete, the Mufti of Xanthi who served the Western Thrace Turks living in Greece and passed away on 14 July 2022. TÜMYAD, in memory of the late Mufti of Xanthi Ahmet Mete, one of the religious leaders of Western Thrace Turks, who will be commemorated with a ceremony at his grave on Monday 14 July 2024 on the 2nd anniversary of his death, distributed food to the homeless and orphans who had to live on the streets at night in Istanbul due to impossibilities on Wednesday evening 10 July 2024.
TÜMYAD, which previously distributed meals in memory of the late Western Thrace Turks' leader and founder of the Friendship, Equality and Peace Party Dr. Sadık Ahmet and the late Rodop Independent MP Ismail Rodop, shared on its X account about the meal distributed in memory of Ahmet Mete; "The meals to be given this evening are on behalf of the cherished memory of the late Mufti of Xanthi Ahmet Mete.
