Traffic accident victim young Hakan to be buried today
At the exit of the Bulgarian road on the Komotini-Kalfa road, at the point where traffic accidents have occurred many times before, a fatal accident occurred again last night.
An Audi car coming from Kardzhali province of Bulgaria collided with a Suzuki motorbike going to Komotini from Kalfa direction.
In the tragic accident, the Bulgarian citizens in the vehicle, who were stated to be husband and wife, managed to survive despite being seriously injured, while the driver of the motorbike, Hakan Çakır İsmail, a young man born in 2001 and residing in Kalenderköy of Kozlukebir Municipality, unfortunately died on the spot.
The Turkish Minority of Western Thrace sacrificed another young person to the traffic monster. Young Hakan was taken from the scene by ambulance and taken to Komotini Sismanoglu State Hospital for autopsy.
Hakan, who was only 22 years old, will be buried today by his family, villagers and loved ones at Kalenderköy Cemetery after the afternoon prayers.
As MİLLET Newspaper, we wish God's mercy to Hakan Çakır İsmail who fell victim to a traffic monster at a young age, and we wish patience to his grieving family, the people of the village and the whole Western Thrace Turkish Minority.
