TIAD issues condolence message for fire tragedy in Gebecili

The Thrace Businesspeople’s Association (TIAD) has released a written statement offering condolences following a tragic fire that occurred in the village of Gebecili, in the Rhodope regional unit.

The fire, which broke out on 26 December 2025, claimed the life of 7-year-old Salih. In its statement, TIAD also expressed wishes for a speedy recovery for the child’s sibling and father, who were seriously injured in the incident.

The statement read as follows:

“To the respected regional press and the people of our region,
We pray for God’s mercy upon 7-year-old Salih, who lost his life in the fire that broke out on 26 December 2025 in the village of Gebecili in the Rhodope region, and we wish a swift recovery to his sibling and father, who were seriously injured.”

The message was issued with the signature of the TIAD Board of Directors.
