A demonstration was organised in Xanthi for Ayşe Kadri who lost her life after being hit by a police vehicle in Mizanlı village of Xanthi.
The demonstrators gathered in the town square of Xanthi and first marched to the Police Headquarters of Xanthi. "This murder will not be forgotten. We will be the voice of the 19-year-old girl" and then marched towards the Xanthi Courthouse. The demonstrators continued to shout slogans against the police forces and then dispersed without any incident.
In addition to left-wing groups, many minorities also took part in the demonstration.
