It is reported that the trial of the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) at the Supreme Court (Arios Pagos) will be discussed on Friday, October 16, 2020.
In accordance with the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, the date of the appeal hearing at the Supreme Court of Appeals which was discussed and rejected at the Thrace Court of Appeal for the return of the formality of Xanthi Turkish Union is determined. Accordingly, the trial of the Xanthi Turkish Union will be held at the Supreme Court of Appeals (Arios Pagos) Court in Athens on Friday, October 16, 2020.
As it might be recalled, the Trial of the Turkish Union of Xanthi, which had to be discussed at the Supreme Court on Friday, March 20, 2020, was delayed due to the interruption of the work of the courts throughout Greece within the scope of the measures taken due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
In accordance with the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, the date of the appeal hearing at the Supreme Court of Appeals which was discussed and rejected at the Thrace Court of Appeal for the return of the formality of Xanthi Turkish Union is determined. Accordingly, the trial of the Xanthi Turkish Union will be held at the Supreme Court of Appeals (Arios Pagos) Court in Athens on Friday, October 16, 2020.
