The trial, which was expected to be heard in Athens on Monday 17 October, was adjourned to 14 December at the request of one of the defendants' lawyers.

On December 12, 2016, a criminal complaint was filed against four deputies of the Golden Dawn Party, who raided the event organized by the FEP Party and Greek Helsinki Monitor in Athens. The hearing held on December 21, 2021 was postponed to April 1, 2022 and then postponed again to October 17, 2022.

In a written statement made by the FEP Party on the subject, "The case that was supposed to be discussed in Athens today was once again postponed to 14 December 2022, upon the request of one of the defendants' lawyers. Our Chairman Çiğdem Asafoğlu and our Chairman of the Xanthi Turkish Union and member of FEP Party Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Greek Helsinki Monitor Director Panayotes Dimitras, Minority Rights Group representative Nafsika Papanikolatu, who was proposed as a witness in the hearing attended. Our former Chairman Mustafa Ali Çavuş as a complainant and represented by Attorney Ahmet Kara attended. Former MP and Human Rights General Secretary Maria Yanakaki was also present.” it was said.
