The film "Sadık Ahmet" brings together kinsmen in Keşan

The film "Sadık Ahmet", which tells the life of the late leader of Western Thrace Turks Dr. Sadık Ahmet and his struggle for the rights of the Turkish minority, was screened in Keşan.

The organisation to watch the film "Sadık Ahmet", organised by Keşan Municipality on Thursday evening, 8 February 2024, brought together the compatriots living in Western Thrace and in the motherland Turkey at Keşan Bendis Shopping Mall Cinema Hall.

Among those who watched the film were the host Mayor of Keşan Mustafa Helvacıoğlu, wife of the late leader Dr. Sadık Ahmet, Işık Sadık Ahmet, daughter Funda Sadık Ahmet, executives from the Friendship, Equality and Peace (FEP) Party he founded, members of the FMC, executives from the minority community, President of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTTDD) Hasan Küçük, executives of the association, BTTDD Keşan Branch President Ayhan Beyli, Keşan District Mufti Uğur Emiroğlu, compatriots from Western Thrace and guests from Keşan.

At the ceremony held before the film, BTTDD President Hasan Küçük, Işık Sadık Ahmet and Keşan Mayor Mustafa Helvacıoğlu made speeches to the participants.

The speakers shared their thoughts about the life of the deceased leader Dr. Sadık Ahmet and his struggle for the rights of the Turks in Western Thrace, and shared their views on the TRT co-production "Sadık Ahmet" film and the message it conveyed to the participants.

At the end of the speeches, Keşan Mayor Mustafa Helvacı presented Işık Sadık Ahmet with the book titled "Mayor in the Love of Keşan", and Funda Sadık Ahmet presented the mayor with the book titled "Dr. Sadık Ahmet", which tells about the life and struggle of his father.

After the collective souvenir photo taken, the guests took their seats in the hall and watched the film.
