Teacher Cavit Karabıyıklı awards successful students with a trip to Komotini and a radio programme
Cavit Karabıyıklı, Imam and Qur'an Course teacher of Xanthi Yassıören village, rewarded his successful students with a trip to Komotini and a radio programme.
Cavit Karabıyıklı, who rewarded his students by bringing them to Alantepe activities in previous years, brought his successful students to Komotini this time. Starting his visit to Komotini with the tomb of Dr Sadık Ahmet, Cavit Karabıyıklı introduced the Turkish Youth Union of Komotini to his students. The students from Yassıören, who had the opportunity to meet İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini, were the guests of journalist Ramadan Molla's programme on Çınar FM.
Theologian-Writer Cavit Karabıyıklı made the following statement on his social media account regarding his visit to Komotini:
"Today, as Yassıören Qur'an Course affiliated to the Muftiate of Xanthi, we realised our trip to Komotini, which I promised to my students who succeeded in the 2022-2023 period. After visiting the grave of the late Dr. Sadık AHMET, when we went to visit the Komotini Turkish Youth Union, we came across the elected Mufti of Komotini İbrahim ŞERİF. We had the opportunity to chat while drinking the tea he offered us. Then we went to Çınar FM radio station and attended the live broadcast programme presented by Ramadan MOLLA. The excitement and happiness in the eyes of my students made me personally very happy. We have shown to the young students that perseverance and endeavour bring success and that the result is also pleasing. We wish them success next year."
