Support to 21 companies from the State Presidency

Eastern Macedonia - Thrace Province supports companies operating in the field of agriculture and food.
With the decision of East Macedonian Thrace State President Christos Metios, a total of 21 companies operating in the field of agriculture and food and cooperating with research institutions will receive 3 million euros in aid.
The project will be financed by the Agricultural Development Programme.
21 companies operating in products such as meat and dairy products, fruit and vegetables, cereals, cotton and tobacco and which have cooperation agreements with research institutions in order to develop new technology and production methods will benefit from the aid.
In this context, State President Christos Metios visited Ferecik (Ferres), a province of Meriç (Evros) met with representatives of two companies.
