Strong wind and rain warning from Komotini Municipality

The Municipality of Komotini, based on the data of the General Directorate of Meteorology, warned citizens against strong winds, sudden temperature drops, heavy rain and storms on Monday (today). 

According to the statement made by the Municipality, the strong wind that started on Sunday afternoon in the Ionian and western regions was effective in central Macedonia, Sporades, eastern Thessaly, Sterea and Evia regions. 

Starting from noon on Monday, the wind is expected to gradually weaken. Until the morning hours today, showers and storms will continue to be effective in the northeastern parts of the country, especially in eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the northeastern Aegean.
