In its announcement, the Union emphasized the urgent need for immediate peace, humanitarian aid, and respect for human rights, inviting citizens to join “a peaceful expression of solidarity and humanity.”
The Union also outlined its main demands as part of the mobilization:
- An immediate end to the genocide of the Palestinian people.
- The cessation of all cooperation with Israel.
- The recognition of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
