Snow holiday for schools in Hemetli and Mehrikoz districts

Due to the snowfall in Hemetli and Mehrikoz regions of Kozlukebir Municipality in Rhodope province, schools were cancelled for one day.
Mayor of Kozlukebir Municipality Erdem Hüseyin announced on his social media account that schools were closed today, Tuesday 9 January, due to heavy snowfall in Hemetli and Mehrikoz.
Mayor Erdem Hüseyin said, "Due to the snowfall and adverse weather conditions, our kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, including Hemetli Region, Mehrikoz Region and Üşekdere village, have been suspended for 1 day on Tuesday 09 January 2023."
