Religious community gathering marks Eid celebration in İskeçe

A large community gathering organized by the Mufti’s Office in İskeçe marked a significant Eid celebration this year, bringing together religious officials and their families in a spirit of unity and shared tradition.

The event, titled “Clergy Eid Table,” was held for the first time and drew strong participation following the midday prayer. Organized under the leadership of Mustafa Trampa—who also serves as head of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board—the gathering highlighted institutional cohesion and community solidarity.

A Spiritual and Social Celebration
The program began with a recitation from the Quran, followed by religious hymns performed by clergy members, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

In his address, Mufti Trampa thanked religious officials for their dedication throughout the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that Eid strengthens bonds of brotherhood and mutual support within the community.

Messages of Unity and Continuity
Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu also delivered a brief holiday message, extending greetings to attendees and reinforcing the importance of togetherness.

Organizers expressed hope that the event will become an annual tradition, further strengthening ties among clergy members and their families.
