Rector Hatipler visits Mustafçova Municipality
March 18, 2025 – Western Thrace – Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler, Rector of Trakya University in Edirne, visited Mustafçova Municipality as part of his official engagements in Western Thrace.
Upon arrival at the municipal building, Rector Hatipler and his delegation were warmly received by Mayor Ahmet Kurt. The meeting provided an opportunity for mutual exchange of ideas and discussions on potential cooperation between Trakya University and local institutions.
Expressing his pleasure in hosting the delegation, Mayor Kurt thanked Rector Hatipler and his team for their visit. Following the meeting, he issued a written statement:
"Today, we had the privilege of hosting Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler and his esteemed delegation at Mustafçova Municipality. We sincerely thank Prof. Hatipler and his team for their kind visit. Additionally, I extend my gratitude to businessman Hamdi Sefer and his family for their hospitality in welcoming us at their home after the Edirne Governorship’s iftar in Şahin village, where they treated us to coffee and desserts."
The visit further strengthened academic and municipal relations between Trakya University and institutions in Western Thrace, reinforcing ongoing efforts for cultural and educational collaboration.
