“Ramadan Street” event draws strong turnout in Şahin Village

A community-focused “Ramadan Street” event organized by the Mufti Office of İskeçe attracted significant participation in the village of Şahin, offering children and families an engaging program rooted in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.

Held after the evening Tarawih prayer, the event was coordinated by the Children’s Mufti Office team operating under the institution’s education department. The program featured a wide range of cultural and educational activities designed to introduce younger generations to traditional values.

Cultural Activities and Traditional Performances
Participants enjoyed Qur’an recitation, interactive Ramadan-themed games, and workshops on traditional arts such as Ebru. The event also included performances inspired by Sufi traditions, alongside classic shadow theatre and folk storytelling.

Popular cultural figures such as Nasreddin Hodja and Karagöz and Hacivat were brought to life on stage, drawing enthusiastic reactions from children.

Speaking at the event, Mustafa Trampa emphasized that such initiatives allow children not only to have fun but also to connect with their cultural heritage.
