Rıza Kırlıdökme, one of the well-known figures of Western Thrace, passed away
Rıza Kırlıdökme, former president of Xanthi Turkish Union, former director of Xanthi Muzaffer Salihoğlu Minority Secondary School - High School and former columnist of Gündem Newspaper, passed away today (Tuesday 8 August) at his home in Xanthi.
88 years old Rıza Kırlıdökme's funeral will be held on Wednesday, 9 August after the noon prayer from his house in Xanthi.
Rıza Kırlıdökme, who had a rich archive especially on the press history of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, was a serious source for academics and researchers for years.
