Payments for agro-environmental and organic measures by OPEKEPE
On November 15, 2024, the clearing and gradual crediting of payments for beneficiaries under Measure 10 "Agro-Environmental Measures" for the 2023 application year were completed. This includes the following specific measures:
- Protection of wild bird species,
- Protection of the traditional olive grove of Amfissa,
- Maintenance of traditional viticulture practices in the vineyards of N. Thira,
- Reduction of water pollution from agricultural activities,
- Implementation of the COMFUSIO method.
The payment clearing for Measure 11, "Support for the conversion/maintenance of organic practices and methods in agriculture/livestock farming," also for the 2023 application year, was finalized.
Specifically, for Measure 10 (2023), €181,969.28 was paid to 13,551 beneficiaries, while for Measure 11 (2023), €4,062,052.92 was distributed to 57,749 beneficiaries.
As for the advance payments for the Agro-Environmental Measures (M10) and the Organic Practices Support (M11) for the 2024 application year, these will be processed by the end of November.
