Nakiye Alioğlu sent off to her last journey

Nakiye Alioğlu, mother of Işık Sadık Ahmet who is the wife of the late litigator Dr. Sadık Ahmet and Honorary President of Friendship Equality Peace (FEP), was buried on Monday, 10 July.

A funeral ceremony was organised at the house of Nakiye Alioğlu, wife of the late Mümin Ali Molla, one of the well-known tradesmen of Xanthi and former president of Xanthi Turkish Union, after the afternoon prayers. Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, made a short speech and expressed his condolences, stating that Ali Molla family was one of the well-known families of Xanthi.

At the funeral ceremony organised at Nakiye Alioğlu's house, especially her daughter Işık Sadık Ahmet and her son Ali Müminoğlu, her grandchildren Levent Sadık Ahmet, Funda Sadık Ahmet, Murat Müminoğlu, Arzu Müminoğlu and family members accepted condolences.

Nakiye Alioğlu, who passed away at the age of 94, was buried in Xanthi Lower Neighbourhood Cemetery.

Nakiye Alioğlu was buried after the funeral prayer led by Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi.

The funeral ceremony in Xanthi was attended by Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal and his wife İlayda Ünal, Vice Consuls Barış Çulha and Adnan Öztürk, Xanthi MP Burhan Baran, Vice President of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace Ahmet Ibram, President of FEP Party Çiğdem Asafoğlu, President of Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association Hüseyin Baltacı, President of Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union Aydın Ahmet, President of Xanthi Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Komotini Turkish Youth Union Sedat Hasan, President of BAKEŞ Hüseyin Bostancı, Yassıköy mayoral candidate Caner İmam, Mustafçova mayoral candidates Cemil Kabza and Mücahit Dükkancı, former Mayor of Gökçeler Birol İncemehmet and many kinsmen participated.
