Mufti Şerif congratulates Three Months and Regaip Kandil
In his message, Mufti İbrahim Şerif stated the following about the Three Months, which will begin on Monday, January 23, and the Regaip Kandili, which will be celebrated on the first Friday night of the month of Recep, the first of these blessed months;
My Dearest Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Brothers,
On Monday, January 23, we are meeting the blessed season of three months, in which the mercy, forgiveness of our Almighty Lord rains down showers and abundance and blessings intensify. We thank our Almighty Lord and greet these blessed days with the prayer of our Prophet (pbuh): "O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban beneficial for us and bring us to the Month of Ramadan."
The first Friday night of the month of Rajab, the first of the three months, is Regaib Kandil. We will have realized the Regaip Kandili on the night that connects Thursday, January 26 to Friday. On these nights, when the unity and solidarity of Muslims is strengthened, love and affection spread among us, our Almighty Lord said, "Hold on to Allah's rope (Qur'an) all together and do not be divided into pieces." These are the moments when we adopt a life style in accordance with the verse.
Dear Muslim Brothers,
Regaip means a lot of mercy and blessings, a lot of grace and benevolence, which is very popular. For this reason, Regaip Kandil is a night in which Allah's mercy and forgiveness surrounds the believers who sincerely pray and invoke him. For the sake of this blessed night, our Almighty Lord accepts the repentance and prayers of his servants, and forgives the sins of those who commit many sins with divine mercy and forgiveness. Almighty Allah (c.c.) says in the Qur'an, "Pray to me, I will answer your prayer." he commands. Our Prophet (pbuh) said: "There are 5 nights in which prayers are not rejected. The first Friday night of the month of Recep (Regaip), the 15th night of the Month of Shaban (Acquisition), Friday nights, Ramadan, and Eid-al-Adha nights."

Life flows like water. Yesterday has passed with its faults and good deeds. It is not possible to bring back the past days. There is no guarantee that we will live the days to come. Today's evaluation is in our hands. By making use of the spiritual climate of blessed days and nights, we should appreciate the time we are in and try to fulfill our duties of servitude properly. These blessed days and nights are unique opportunities to collect ourselves, to question, and to tidy up our behavior.
Let's take care to remember our Lord more and send blessings and greetings to our Beloved Prophet in the three months and on the nights of the oil lamps. There are some of our spouses, friends, relatives, and friends who were with us last year, who could not reach tonight. Considering that this lamp may be the last lamp for us, let's try to fulfill our duties in the way that Almighty Allah desires.
Dear Brothers,
The three months and blessed nights that we will realize should first of all remind us of our duties and responsibilities towards our Lord, our family, and our society, and should enable us to repent of our mistakes and sins. In addition, in such time periods, the hearts of the elders should be taken, the memories of our spouses and friends should be asked, the strangers and orphans should be taken care of, and the people in need should be helped. Resentments, resentments, and personal interests should be put aside, tolerance, brotherhood, and unity should be maintained between us.
As in previous years, care should be taken to come together in our mosques and revive the Three Months and Regaib Kandil with enthusiastic congregations.

May Almighty Allah bless the months of Rajab and Sha'ban for us and bring us to the Month of Ramadan. On this occasion, I congratulate the blessed three months of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority and the Regaib Kandili that we will realize, and I pray to Allah Almighty that it will be instrumental in the salvation of the entire Islamic World and humanity.
