Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif pays visit to Yassıköy Municipality
İbrahim Şerif, President of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace (BTTADK) and Mufti of Komotini, paid a visit to Mayor of Yassıköy Municipality Caner Imam.
During his visit to the municipality, Mufti İbrahim Şerif was accompanied by Sedat Hasan, President of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB).
Mufti Ibrahim Sharif and GTGB President Sedat Hasan were welcomed at the municipality by Mayor Caner Imam and other elected officials.
Mehmet Arif, Deputy Mayor for Environment, Cleaning, Landscaping and Technical Services of Susurköy District and Yassıköy Municipality, Mehmet Arif, Deputy Mayor for Stray Animals of Yassıköy Municipality, Erkan Kınç, Deputy Mayor for Education, Culture and Sports of Yassıköy Municipality and Technical Services of Arabacıköy and Yassıköy Districts, and Kubilay Manko Mehmet, Deputy Mayor for Water, Irrigation and Sewerage of Yassıköy and Arabacıköy Districts also attended the visit.
Yassıköy Mayor Caner Imam made a statement on his social media accounts regarding the visit organised by Mufti İbrahim Şerif and GTGB President Sedat Hasan.
In his statement, Mayor Imam said, "Our Virtuous Mufti and at the same time the President of BTTADK Mr İbrahim Şerif and the President of GTGB Mr Sedat Hasan paid a courtesy visit to our municipality. During the mutual meeting, they conveyed their congratulations and wishes of success. We expressed our satisfaction and thanks for their visit."
