MP Ferhat brings water floods to the parliament agenda
Özgür Ferhat, New Left MP for the province of Rodopi, brought the problem of water floods in the villages of Narlıköy, Susurköy, Kozlardere and Büyük Müsellim to the parliamentary agenda.
Submitting a parliamentary parliamentary question on the issue, MP Ferhat pointed out that important steps should be taken for the security of the people of the region and the protection of their living spaces.
In the motion, Ferhat also asked the Ministry of Environment and Energy about the reason for the delay and the stage of the project prepared by the Provincial Directorate of Forestry for the construction of small dams to prevent floods in the region.
"These projects aim to protect our villages and their surrounding habitats by reducing the effects of flood disasters," Ferhat said in a statement on the proposal.
