MP Baran awarded by the Council Committee
The Committee of the Xanthi Minority Secondary School-High School and the Parent-Teacher Association visited the Independent Deputy of Xanthi Burhan Baran.
On Thursday 2 May 2024, the building problem of the Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School was discussed during the visit. During the meeting, the delegation headed by Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Chairman of the Council Committee, thanked Deputy Baran for his contributions to the solution of the school building problem and expressed the request to further increase these efforts.
The Board of Councillors and PTA executives exchanged views with MP Baran on many issues related to the school, especially the building problem, which is the biggest problem of the school. The Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School Board of Councillors and PTAs emphasised that the building problem of the school must be solved in order for our students to benefit from the right to equality of education and to have the opportunity to receive education in modern conditions which they have been deprived of for many years.
Deputy of Xanthi Burh MP Mr Baran also expressed his satisfaction for the visit and promised that he will always stand by the Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School, especially for the solution of the school building.
During the visit, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Chairman of the Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School Board of Councillors, presented a plaque to MP Burhan Baran in memory of the visit.
The visit to MP Burhan Baran was attended by Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Councillors, Ersan Ömer, Manager of the Board of Councillors, Bahri Belço, Secretary of the Board of Councillors, Selma Veli, Vice President of the PTA, Erdal Hocaoğlu, Şerife Mustafaoğlu, Reyhan Deli and Emine Eminoğlu, Member of the Supervisory Board of the PTA.
