Mitsotakis, whose brakes exploded, look what he wanted from Minority MPs
New Democracy Party leader Mitsotakis, who acted like a vehicle with a broken brake, eager to get votes from the extreme right, demanded a "Greek nationality certificate" from the Turkish Minority deputies.
Kiryakos Mitsotakis, who went so far as to accuse the will of the Turkish Minority of "betrayal" because he could not get the votes he wanted from the Rhodope province, this time pushed the limits further and demanded a Greek nationality certificate from the SYRIZA deputies.
According to EFSYN's report, Kiryakos Mitsotakis, who openly threatened the Western Thrace Turkish Minority voters who did not vote for his party and declared them traitors with his staff, and does not regret this, continues his irresponsible attitude.
With Kiryakos Mitsotakis continuing his provocations, there is a nationalist frenzy in the "blue" camp called NDP.
In an interview with StarNews, Mitsotakis asked SYRIZA's Rhodope and Xanthi parliamentary candidates Özgür Ferhat and Hüseyin Zeybek to publicly declare that they are Muslim Greek citizens and that they respect the Treaty of Lausanne.
Mitsotakis reiterated that SYRIZA had been informed twice before about the two parliamentary candidates, while New Democracy has been attacking with extremist rhetoric for days in order to deflect and change the pre-election agenda by poisoning the public debate with far-right rhetoric.
SYRIZA, on the other hand, loudly responded to the "blue" political vagrancy for Rhodope after the elections.
The President of New Democracy also insisted on the Turkish consulate's rhetoric about SYRIZA sources and their alleged interference in the elections.
SYRIZA, on the other hand, in order to repel this attack of Mitsotakis, made the followings statement: "Turkish influence in Thrace cannot be eliminated by repeating the scapegoat practices of the past and by demanding national consciousness certificate and expressions of regret."
