On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Millet Newspaper was the guest of the Iskeçe Turkish Union (İTB) Youth Branch for the monthly “Youth Meetings” event. The event was attended by Cengiz Ömer, the Editor-in-Chief of Millet Newspaper, Bilal Budur, the General Publishing Coordinator, and Cemil Kabza, the Millet News editor. The session was moderated by Ravza Topçu, the Media Officer of the İTB Youth Branch.
During the opening speech, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of the Iskeçe Turkish Union, praised the young participants for their interest and remarked: "The purpose of these events is to help our youth learn about important issues related to our community, our history, and our future. Young people must understand the past and present of Western Thrace."
Bilal Budur began the presentations by outlining the founding process of Millet Newspaper and the newspaper's ongoing struggle to serve as the voice of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace. Cemil Kabza followed with a discussion on the evolution of journalism and the shifting dynamics of the media landscape.

He emphasized the importance of their work for the community, saying: "We have worked and continue to work for the rights and justice of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace. We have paid a price for it, but we did so for future generations. To see you, the young people, supporting the Iskeçe Turkish Union and participating in these events fills us with hope, joy, and pride."
The event concluded with a Q&A session followed by thank-you speeches from Önder Şabanoğlu, the İTB Youth Branch Officer, and Mustafa Budur, the President of the İTB Youth Branch.
