Mayor of Mustafçova Kurt holds talks in Bulgaria
Mayor of Mustafçova Ahmet Kurt visited the municipalities of Rudozem and Madan in Bulgaria. During the meetings with the Bulgarian mayors, cooperation on EU programmes between the bordering municipalities of the two countries was discussed.
Ahmet Kurt, Mayor of Mustafçova Municipality, made a statement on his social media account about his visits to municipalities and meetings with mayors. Mayor Kurt stated the following in his statement:
"As we stated when we took over the municipal administration, we are committed to improving the daily life of our residents and changing the face of our region. From the first moment we took office, we have been focussing on our goals. In the strategic framework that we have prepared to realise our goals, we are looking for new possibilities, perspectives and collaborations every day, both in Greece and abroad. To this end, on 09 March 2024 we met with Netdko KULEVSKI, Mayor of Rudozem, Bulgaria, and today (13 March 2024) with Fahri MOLAYSENOV, Mayor of Madan, to explore the possibilities of our inclusion in the INTERREG programme of the European Union. I am proud to share with you, dear people, these good developments and many other good news that will change the face of our region."
