Mayor Erdem Hüseyin visits Mufti İbrahim Şerif in his office
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin visited the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, at his office.
During the visit, Mayor Hüseyin expressed his gratitude for Mufti İbrahim Şerif's contributions to the rightful cause of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace, as well as for his book titled İbrahim Şerif: Bir Mücadelenin Hikayesi (İbrahim Şerif: A Story of Struggle).
The visit was organized as a follow-up to the recently held promotional event for the book, which Mayor Hüseyin was unable to attend. In a statement made after the visit, Mayor Hüseyin explained that he had missed the book signing and promotional event organized by the Western Thrace Minority Culture and Education Foundation and written by Dr. Hüseyin Bostancı, and that the visit was a way to express support and receive copies of the book.
Accompanying Mayor Hüseyin during the visit were his advisor, İrfan Hüseyin, and the Deputy Mayors of Kozlukebir Municipality.
