Lawsuit over Yalımlı – Yassıköy road construction postponed
The lawsuit filed by property owners affected by the construction of the Yalımlı – Yassıköy road in the Rhodope region has been postponed.
Yassıköy Mayor Caner İmam requested the postponement of the case following complaints from residents. After his request, the court rescheduled the hearing for Friday, March 21, 2025.
Following concerns expressed by citizens, Mayor Caner İmam conveyed the issue to the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace regional authorities and requested the postponement of the hearing, which was originally scheduled for Friday, February 7.
Mayor İmam emphasized that significant changes have taken place in the affected properties since the initial assessment was conducted in 2010. He stated that after the necessary efforts were made, the case was postponed to ensure that residents could seek their rights in accordance with the law.
