Kozlukebir Municipal Council member Cihat Şerif resigns from Birlik list

Cihat Şerif, a municipal council member elected from the Birlik List in the 2023 local elections in Kozlukebir Municipality, has announced his resignation from the political group.
In a public statement, Şerif said he had decided to leave the Birlik List, led by Mayor Erdem Hüseyin, citing personal and political reasons. He stressed that his decision was made after careful consideration and thanked those who had supported him during his tenure.
Şerif did not announce whether he would continue serving as an independent council member or join another political group. No official response from the Birlik List had been issued at the time of publication.
