Komotini Municipality launches Creative Recycling Project: "The Second Life of Clothes"

The Municipality of Komotini, in collaboration with the Rhodope Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education, is organizing an artistic recycling initiative titled "The Second Life of Clothes."

This activity, hosted through the municipal platform followgreen.gr/komotini, aims to raise awareness within the school community about the importance of recycling.

The event involves participation from students of two kindergartens, three primary schools, and one secondary school in the Komotini municipality. With the help of their teachers, students had the opportunity to express their creativity while transforming old clothes and turning their classrooms into mini workshops.

All of the students’ artworks are displayed on the recycling platform, where registered users can vote for their favorite pieces. Each user is allowed three votes, which they can cast on a single artwork or spread across three different ones.
