KKE deputies brought the problems experienced in the health service in Arianna (Kozlukebir) to the parliament.
The Greek Communist Party (KKE) deputies Leonidas Stoltidis and Yannis Delis brought the problems experienced in the field of health services in Kozlukebir municipality of Rodophe region to the parliament.
KKE deputies Stoltidis and Delis reminded that the only ambulance in the municipality was out of order, in the question they asked Health Minister Thanos Plevris to answer, and demanded that the ambulance be repaired and strengthened with permanent staff.
KKE deputies pointed out that there are no health centers within the administrative borders of the municipality, and therefore there are serious problems in the provision of health services.
It was pointed out that the remote villages of the municipality were quite far from the Komotini State Hospital and the Alexantdroupolis (Dedeağaç) University Hospital. Furthermore it was stated in the parliamentary question that the only ambulance in the region was out of order.
KKE deputies Stoltidis and Delis demanded that funds be made for the repair of the ambulance in Hemetli village and that the ambulance be serviced with permanent staff. In addition, it was requested that a new ambulance (including necessary staff) be given to Kozlukebir municipality and a new health center should be established within the boundaries of the municipality.
