İskeçe Müfti Office holds pre-Ramadan strategy meeting with religious officials
The meeting took place Monday at Mescid-i Atik, where clerics reviewed planned activities to be implemented across mosques and local communities throughout Ramadan.

Officials emphasized the importance of structured coordination to ensure consistent religious services and broad community participation.
Emphasis on Unity and Spiritual Renewal
Addressing the gathering, Mustafa Trampa — President of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of İskeçe — underlined that Ramadan extends beyond fasting.
He described the holy month as a period of unity, brotherhood, solidarity and spiritual revival, calling on religious leaders to serve with heightened sensitivity and guidance toward all segments of society.
Preparations Continue Across Western Thrace
Muftiate officials affirmed that preparations are being carried out meticulously to ensure the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan is experienced in its fullest sense across the region.
The institution reiterated its commitment to working closely with the community to embrace what it described as the “season of mercy and blessings” together.
