İskeçe Minority School students organize Ramadan Food Aid initiative
Students of the İskeçe Minority Middle-High School have organized a food aid distribution campaign in observance of Ramadan, delivering essential supplies to families experiencing financial hardship in the wider İskeçe region.
The initiative, carried out in the spirit of solidarity and charitable giving traditionally associated with Ramadan, was coordinated under the guidance of teacher Erkan İmamefendi.
Food Packages Distributed Across İskeçe
As part of the campaign, students prepared and distributed food parcels containing basic grocery items to families identified as being in need across İskeçe prefecture.
Organizers said the effort aimed not only to provide material support but also to strengthen values of unity, empathy, and social responsibility among students.
Community Recognition
The activity was widely welcomed by recipient families and members of the school community.
In a joint statement, the School Board and the Parents’ Association congratulated the students and teachers who contributed to the initiative, expressing hope that the spirit of solidarity demonstrated during Ramadan will continue to grow stronger.
The initiative highlights the role of educational institutions in fostering civic engagement and community awareness among young people.
