Işık Sadık Ahmet Pays visit to Istanbul Governor Davut Gül
In the post made on the social media x account of the Governorship of Istanbul regarding the visit, it was stated that "Işık Ahmet, the wife of the late Dr Sadık Ahmet, one of the important representatives of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace, visited our Governor Davut Gül".
Işık Sadık Ahmet also shared the following statement: "Today, my daughter Funda Sadık Ahmet and I visited our Istanbul Governor Mr Davut Gül in his office and wished him success in his duty. I would like to express my gratitude to our Governor for his kind reception, hospitality and pleasant conversation."
At the end of his visit, Işık Sadık Ahmet presented Istanbul Governor Davut Gül with a book prepared and published by the Turks Abroad and Related Communities, which tells the life of Dr Sadık Ahmet.
