İrfan Ali laid to rest with prayers after tragic accident

Thousands gathered in front of his home in Xanthi to pay their last respects to Irfan Ali, a well-known and beloved figure in the community. The funeral prayer was held in the afternoon, led by Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa, who also asked for forgiveness on behalf of the deceased from those present.

Addressing the congregation, Mufti Mustafa Trampa expressed the deep sorrow felt by the community over the past few days, emphasizing the sadness of losing loved ones so suddenly. Trampa said, "Our brother Irfan was a sincere and devoted person, well-loved by everyone. He was a cheerful, harmless, and humble man known for his work over the years. Unfortunately, we lost such a cherished person in a tragic accident. Yesterday, we also buried young Deniz, who passed away in the same accident. Our grief is immense. May Allah grant patience to his family and all of us. May Allah reunite us in Paradise."

The funeral was attended by many, including Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa, Xanthi MPs Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, Ismail Dikme representing the Turkish Consulate General in Komotini, and other elected representatives.

After receiving forgiveness, Irfan Ali's body was taken to the Lower Neighborhood Cemetery in Xanthi. Following the funeral prayer there, he was laid to rest. Mufti Mustafa Trampa conveyed the condolences of Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal to the family, particularly to Irfan Ali's daughter, Hilal Ali, a member of the GAT Board of Directors.

As Millet Newspaper, we extend our deepest condolences to Irfan Ali's family and loved ones. May he rest in peace and may his family find patience in this difficult time.
