Indian business delegation to visit Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
The initiative is being organized by the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMT) in cooperation with the Chamber of Small and Medium-Sized Industries and Professions of Rhodope, which has issued a call for participation to local enterprises.
The Indian entrepreneurs—active in the fields of fresh fruit, vegetables, and processed or packaged foods—will be given the opportunity to explore partnerships, discover regional products, and establish commercial ties with local producers.
Organizers highlight that the mission carries strategic importance, coming within the framework of Greece–India bilateral agreements and in the context of the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), which is opening new routes for trade and investment.
The delegation will be headed by Ms. Nisha Jadhan, Deputy Director of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce and partner of RECO Exports India, who will oversee coordination and support communication between Greek and Indian businesses.
The program includes:
- A product tasting event,
- Visits to local production facilities,
- A regional product exhibition, and
- B2B meetings between Greek and Indian entrepreneurs.
Local companies interested in participating are invited to complete the official registration form. Submitted details will also be used to prepare the required informational material.
