Ilayda Ünal hosts Hanımeli Association board at consulate residence
Ilayda Ünal, the wife of Türkiye’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, hosted the board members of the Hanımeli Association from Dinkler village in Xanthi at the consulate residence on Saturday, 10 May 2025.

The visit, which took place as part of ongoing outreach efforts, was acknowledged on the official social media account of the Turkish Consulate General in Komotini. The consulate praised the association for its valuable contributions to the region, stating, “We had the pleasure of welcoming the board members of the Dinkler Hanımeli Association, known for their meaningful community activities, particularly around the Hıdırellez celebrations.”
The Hanımeli Association has been active in organizing cultural and social events in the region, and the meeting served as a gesture of appreciation for their continued efforts in strengthening community ties.
