Historic Alantepe Events begin on Friday

The three-day historic Alantepe Greasy Wrestling and Cultural Events organized by Arriana Municipality of Rhodope Province will start on Friday, August 31st.

The events of Alantepe will begin on Friday, in Passos, in the village of Hasan Hüseyin who is the Aga (The symbolic figure who is the chief organizer of Alantepe Greasy Wrestling Events) of events.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the program will continue at Alantepe where greasy wrestling competitions will take place.

Within the scope of the three-day event, Turkey's famous singer Ankaralı Yasemin will give a concert, and greasy wrestling competitions will be normally held, and folklore shows will be presented.

The traditional program will begin after the Friday prayer when Aga visits the villagers and invites the people to the historical events.
