"Hello Winter" Event and Charity Bazaar organised in Yassiören
The event organised by Yassıören Sports, Culture and Education Association in the village square showed great interest.
The programme started with greeting speeches. Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Xanthi Turkish Union, Hüseyin Baltacı, President of WTMUGA, Ahmet Kara, President of the Union of Councillors, Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and Aykut Ünal, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komotini made welcoming speeches and expressed their pleasure for participating in the event.
Kermes within the framework of the event attracted great interest. The traditional flavours prepared by the ladies of Yassıören were sold out in a short time after the sales started.
The folklore team of Xanthi Turkish Union also presented a short performance. In the programme where the instrumental team also took part, beautiful folk songs were performed.
The programme in Yassıören was attended by Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal, Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, MP Burhan Baran, newly elected Mayor of Mustafçova Ahmet Kurt, President of ITB Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Çınar Association Cengiz Ömer, President of WTMUGA Hüseyin Baltacı, President of the Union of Councillors Ahmet Kara and many guests.
