Guest of İskeçe Turkish Union Youth meetings: MP Burhan Baran
The İskeçe Turkish Union (İTB) Youth Branch hosted its monthly "Youth Meetings" event on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. This month's guest was İskeçe MP Burhan Baran.
The event began with opening remarks by İTB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu and Youth Branch President Mustafa Budur, followed by moderation by Youth Branch Vice President Enes Karadayı.
Burhan Baran addressed the topic of “The Challenges of Being a Minority in Greece.” He discussed concepts such as minority identity and assimilation, emphasizing that expressing one's national identity is a natural and fundamental right. Baran urged the youth to uphold their cultural values while also embracing universal principles. Additionally, he shared details about his work in parliament and answered questions from attendees.
The event drew significant interest from the youth, and it was announced that İTB Youth Meetings will continue in the coming months.
